this is hard work!

talking about therapy from this side of the couch can feel threatening and bring up a lot of shame. i’ve sat with many therapists who’ve been silenced by the fear of judgement from their boss or coworkers. as a clinical supervisor, my work is guided by the belief that acknowledging our own humanness is critical to doing this work. my values as a supervisor include humility, integrity, humour, curiosity, authenticity & public learning. i lead by example and share about my own #therapistfails as a way to open dialogue. whether you’re looking to consult on a particularly complex case, or for community and professional development, i hope you can find it here. i work with therapists one-on-one, in small groups, and host a monthly drop-in large group discussion.

whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been at this for a while there is no substitute for having another set of eyes and ears on your therapist journey. if you’re looking to connect with other therapists, come out to office hours. if you’re looking for 1:1 or small group consultation, let’s have an unhurried conversation to see if i’m a good fit to support you. i’ve been offering supervision & consultation since 2012. my style is relational and collaborative with a lot of space to explore your edges, blindspots and goals. i’m also a big believer in celebrating your wins and invested in helping you build a career and practice you love.
